1. How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your iCali account directly within the app. Follow these steps:
- Open the iCali app and sign in to your account.
- Go to your Profile screen (tap your profile icon in the top-left corner).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen.
- Tap the "Delete Account" button.
- Read the confirmation dialog carefully. It lists all data that will be permanently deleted.
- Type DELETE in the text field to confirm.
- Tap "Delete Account" to complete the process.
Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.
2. What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Profile information — your name, email address, and profile settings
- Calendars — all calendars you own, including their settings and permissions
- Events — all events in your owned calendars
- Connections — all sent and received connection requests
- Groups — all groups you own and your membership in other groups
- Invitations — all calendar and event invitations (sent and received)
- Notifications — all notifications and scheduled reminders
- Uploaded files — any files or attachments you uploaded
- Authentication record — your sign-in credentials are removed from our authentication system
Your user record is also removed from any shared calendars and groups you were a member of.
3. Data Retention
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Once you confirm the deletion, your data cannot be recovered. There is no additional retention period — all data listed above is deleted at the time of your request.
4. Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to access the iCali app to delete your account (for example, if you have lost access to your sign-in credentials), you can request account deletion by contacting us directly:
